• My name is Hans,
• I lived in Holland.
• At some places,the land is lower
• Than the sea.
• So we built a stone wall
• Along the coast.
• To prevent sea-water
• Entering our land.
• We called these Dikes,Dykes.
• One day,I noticed,
• Water oozing through a small hole,
• It was very late ,that evening,
• I didn't go home,
• And I remained there whole night,
• Next day, some people saw me,
• lying there .
• They saw what had happened,
• They fixed the hole,
• And took me home.
• They all thanked me and 
• praised me.
• They all call me now,
• HANS DYKE HOLLAND.
